Course fee: RM 150.00 per pax;

[This special arrangement at subsidized course fee has been made possible with support from Resource Alliance Malaysia.]

The fee covers course materials, refreshments and lunch for the 3 days.
Participants requiring accommodation will need to make their own arrangements directly with the hotel.

Places are limited to 100 participants. Therefore each NGO is allowed to sign up for a maximum of 2 places. The NGO’s can indicate interest to send more; however this request can only be considered after the early bird registration closes and should there be places available.

Dr Kok-Mun Ng is an Associate Professor in the Department of Counselling at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. He frequently conducts skill-based training workshops which include solution-focused brief therapy, couples and family counselling and emotional intelligence skills in the U.S. and other Asian countries. Dr Ng has published many research articles in peer-reviewed journals and presented in regional, national and international professional conferences. Dr Ng is a licensed professional counsellor in North Carolina, Texas and Malaysia.

PARTICIPANT'S REQUIREMENTS
  • Any person who is interested in acquiring basic counselling skills.
  • Course participants have to be proficient in English as course instructions, notes and reading assignments as well as stipulated written reports and examination will be in English.
  • Participants from NGOs have to be nominated by their respective organisations.
  • As the maximum number of participants that can be accepted is 25, please register early. Places will be on a first-come-first-served basis.
