Penang Dementia Association in collaboration with Alzheimer’s Disease Foundation of Malaysia is organising a Family Caregiver Training Programme, ‘LIVING WITH DEMENTIA’
Date: 3 December 2016 (Saturday)
Time: 8:30 am – 5.00 pm
Place: New Bob Centre, 6th Floor, Gottlieb Road, 10350 Penang
This training programme is designed for family caregivers who wish to learn more about dementia and develop caregiving skills and coping strategies. The program consists of 4 modules:
1. Understanding Dementia and Person Centred Care
2. Understanding the Behaviour of Persons With Dementia
3. Communicating with a Person With Dementia
4. Purposeful and Meaningful Engagement
