Topic: “The Global Economic Crisis: What Next?”
Synopsis: Jakob von Uexkull is the founder and chairperson for the World Future Council (WFC). He is also the founder of the Right Livelihood Award and co-founder of The Other Economic Summit (TOES), the former being commonly referred to as the Alternative Nobel Prize. Jakob’s rationale of creating the WFC is basically to add an ethical perspective to the mostly economical and political considerations that decide about the most important questions of our time. And so we ask, in this time of a global economic crisis… what next?
