Stigma Against People With HIV

Each year, on 1 December, the world commemorates World AIDS Day. People around the world unite to show support for people living with HIV and to remember those who have died from AIDS-related illnesses.

Let us stand together and encourage one another to end the stigma against people with HIV.

HIV does not spread through the air like cold and flu viruses. HIV is transmitted through specific activities such as through sexual intercourse or injection drug use.

Spread the message, not the virus. Let's do our part to stop the HIV stigma.
